Sujin Kang

Sujin studied Statistics at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Seoul, Republic of Korea (South Korea) and a second Master’s degree in Applied Statistics and Data mining in the UK.

Sujin joined the CSM in July 2014. She plays a pivotal role in methodologies, analyses, data management and writing papers (HTA monograph chapters and Journal articles) of Arthroplasty Candidacy Help Engine (ACHE) project (PI: Professor Andrew Price); calculating measurement properties (WP1), establishing Hip and Knee threshold levels for the capacity to benefit using the selected scoring instruments (WP2), and extended analyses of the relative thresholds with NHS PROMs linked to HES (WP3). In addition, she is working on Musculoskeletal Health Questionnaire (MSK-HQ) project.

Studies she has been working on include prognostic models, measurement properties, systematic reviews, meta-analyses and clinical trials on (bio)medical, social care, epidemiological and population health research in the UK academic institutions since 2008. Sujin has strong interests in research design and statistical methodologies.
